As the setting sun faded underneath the horizon, a dark veil began to descend over the illuminated red carpet, surrounded by a panoramic view of Downtown Los Angeles.
Fashion Shift Magazine was kindly invited by LAFW to attend a runway by Sav Noir on the rooftop of The Lazarus Experience. The rock’n’roll independent designer Edwin Hayes put on a striking nocturnal fashion show this season. The alternative designs of Sav Noir are inspired by the merging of the 60s, 70s, and 80s; representing infusing elements of rock’n’roll, glam-punk, and euro-goth lifestyles.
Sav Noir brought its signature non-binary black-dominant aesthetics to the stage, while extending new touches to its line such as subtle pops of colour and silver metallic fabrics. The raw style and mood of this avant-garde collection is one that enraptures the rebellious LA underground scene and subculture.
Thanks to @LAFW and Sav Noir from the Fashion Shift Magazine team!
